What's your business, and who are your customers?
My online holistic health business serves men and women from around the world who suffer from chronic health problems. My business is a platform for people who want to heal, grow, and thrive within a supportive community of health-conscious wellness seekers!
Tell us about yourself
I was first introduced to holistic health and alternative healing modalities 20 years ago. My daughter, who was 4 years old at the time, was diagnosed with systemic rheumatoid arthritis. The doctors told me there was no cure and that long-term pharmaceutical medicines were the only option. I wanted to heal her naturally, so I learned everything I could about how to heal rheumatoid arthritis, and after one year of implementing what I had learned, she went into full remission. Fast forward 20 years, and she remains symptom-free!
A few years later, I began suffering from multiple chronic illnesses and symptoms, and again I managed to heal over 70 of my own symptoms and conditions. This experience birthed The Total Transformation Method. My exclusive method is a 4 step natural system of healing that acknowledges and works with the whole person: mind, body, soul, spirit, and energy. It is the only method in the world that considers all five distinct parts of a person and gets real results.
I wake up each day so inspired by my clients' healing transformations; that is what continues to motivate me to carry out this work. Chronic illness is exploding worldwide and knowing how to heal yourself naturally is a critical tool to have. People who learn my method become empowered healers!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is helping others restore their health so they can live full and vibrant lives. My other accomplishment is publishing a book, which took me over 5 years to write! It's called The Self Healer's Handbook, and it's available now in both paperback and digital formats on Amazon!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing I have found that comes with being a business owner is having good time management! When you are doing what you love, it doesn't feel like work; therefore, it's easy to become so consumed in work that you forget you have a life, a family, and friends outside of work who are probably hanging out to spend time with you! But most importantly, setting aside regular downtime to rest and recharge is an important aspect of staying grounded and focused so that you can continue to be of service to the world and deliver your unique product or service!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't be afraid to delegate tasks and outsource as much as you need to! After all, you can't do it all!
- Learn how to do your own marketing! You know your own business better than anyone else, and marketing makes up a huge percentage of your business's success.
- Believe in what you have to offer, even if it's been done before, and market the hell out of your point of difference! Strong branding and good messaging are key to standing out amongst your competitors!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
If you have an idea, then don't hesitate! Go for it! Do what inspires and makes you happy because life is too short to play it small and work for someone else!
