What's your business, and who are your customers?
Art of Kava. Our customers are anyone that is stressed, deals with anxiety, lack of sleep, and those who are trying to break an addiction.
Tell us about yourself
I wanted to start a business and help people for a long time. I became an accountant to learn all about business, then took the plunge with our tea company drinkteaa.com. Kava was a natural companion company to our tea business, and it really took off.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The first person that said they use our kava to help them on their journey to break an addiction.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Time management and figuring out how to take time off.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Plan. Enjoy failing because you learn from all of it. Don't overdo your orders because you're excited.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Businesses can be like people. A business doesn't have to exist just to make money like a person doesn't exist just to eat. A person has a purpose, and so can your business once you find that. You find your tribe. That's where true success comes from.
