What's your business, and who are your customers?
Facial Filler & Botox Advanced Injector NP. My customers are women and men looking to look rested and refreshed. My patients are mostly entrepreneurs and medical professionals.
Tell us about yourself
2018 was the year I discovered that I truly love poking patients, and my motivation to try and do my best to help patients feel better about themselves and it is mostly improving an asymmetrical lip, facial feature, or aesthetic skin concern.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am able to provide work for other aesthetic providers, and I also provide services as a bilingual nurse practitioner, which was very special in 2018. There is more diversity now, and I am proud I started alone, and I now have a great team.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Letting go of control, but once you choose your battles, the hardest part becomes the easiest.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Start now, don't wait for anyone's approval or delay your plans. Choose something that you truly love and would make a positive impact on patients'/customers' lives so that you feel you are valued and are also able to pay your bills, save for bad times, take vacations, etc. Lastly, learn to trust yourself and take trainings on what you do despite how great or good you think you are... because if you think you learned it all, you probably burned out.
