Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Bryce Hill, owner of ChiroWay Chiropractic, located in Eagan, MN, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

ChiroWay Chiropractic was founded in 2010 by a Chiropractor with a vision of multiple ChiroWay Centers working together, locally owned by Chiropractors who are passionate about providing regular chiropractic adjustments through affordable membership plans that allow our members to benefit from convenient access to chiropractic care!

Tell us about yourself

I am a graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. After growing up and attending high school in Grand Forks, North Dakota, I received my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. A lifetime of sports participation, including ice hockey, baseball, and football, lead me to an interest in health and wellness. Chiropractic proved to be the ideal profession for this interest. I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in November of 2021. I got the chance to intern and mentor under many different DCs, all with varying practice styles, prior to getting my license to practice. These experiences were invaluable in gaining insight into the variety of practice options out there for chiropractors.

I was introduced to ChiroWay halfway through my chiropractic school journey and knew it was the right fit for me. After seeing both the instant and long-lasting impact that regular and affordable chiropractic care can produce, I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of the ChiroWay team. I enjoy spending time with family, playing softball, and fishing in my free time.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a new business owner was being able to open my practice right out of school. The only way I could have done this was with the help and mentorship I had from the ChiroWay team. Finding them so early in my chiropractic school journey was such a blessing and then being able to practice at ChiroWay headquarters as an intern during my last year of school was amazing!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The most challenging and also the most rewarding thing about being a business owner is holding yourself accountable. There will always be things that occur that are out of our control, but being able to problem solve and keep moving forward is the only way to grow both personally and as a business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would just say to go for it! One thing that scares me more than anything is regret. I don't want to be 80 years old and thinking about how things might have been different if I just would have started that business way back when. Go after it! Keep putting one foot in front of the other day after day, and soon you will have climbed a mountain. Also, patience is so important. While my office was being built out, I was at the mercy of a lot of other people's timelines. As much as I wanted to just snap my fingers and be open, that is just not the way it works. Keep putting in the upfront work, and soon you will start to see the fruits of your labor!
