What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a psychic medium/reiki healer (it's always hard to put into just one title haha) who helps people connect deeper to their selves and understand how to heal from things they maybe didn't know were holding them back. I specialize in Past life readings and sometimes call myself a "Past Life Psychic."
By connecting people to their past incarnations, even on a subconscious level, hearing them helps to release blockages that have held them back in this incarnation or led to unexplained fears. I've seen this with my own past incarnations as well, and there's something deeply healing that happens on a subconscious level that, in my experience, the person really resonates with the lifetimes and at least for one of them has always had a feeling or a memory they couldn't explain, it's fascinating! Other than past life readings, I energy heal in reiki sessions, connect people to their passed loved ones, and do general readings as well as Aura readings! My calling grows every time someone trusts me enough to ask me to try something new, which is truly the greatest honor and pleasure of my life.
Tell us about yourself
When I was younger, I was born with these abilities. I felt crazy for them for the longest time. Thankfully, my parents were incredibly nurturing and supportive, but it wasn't something I shared with everyone. Specifically, I was born remembering my past lives. Mostly my most recent one, which was incredibly recent and the most traumatic. I remembered her like it was yesterday, and at a young age, I would tell my mom that I wasn't who I was, which was weird for her at the time. That journey led me to years of struggle, only to attend my first reiki healing that absolutely changed My life. That's when I realized how healing it could be. Once I moved back to the place of my last incarnation and left some of that trauma there and healed, I realized I could really help people because I saw the healing knowing of Your past incarnations and meeting yourself at that deeper soul level afforded me, and I wanted to do whatever I could to help others in that way like I had been helped. The first time I did this during my first reiki session as a practitioner, I didn't even mean to. I started to see blockages in this person's chakras and was shown a life it came from, telling this client changed his life, and the rest is history.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
This business actually started accidentally, all because I really love what I do and seeing the healing it aides in people. I would say the biggest accomplishment is when a client comes back to me and says how they feel a weight has been lifted after a reading and how their life has changed since. It's a great honor to be in any small part of that.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The business part lol. The spiritual part is so comfortable to me and what I really love to do. The actual business aspect of it is out of my comfort zone, but we live, we learn, and we grow. So excited for the journey and to get better!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just start! There's never going to be a perfect time, just start and you'll figure it out along the way.
- Always stay true to yourself, and don't let someone turn Your business into something that doesn't feel right.
- The biggest one is don't forget to take care of yourself. Even though you are a business, Your health and mental health always come first. Taking care of yourself is so productive!
