What's your business, and who are your customers?
Using my proven InnerState Coaching Program, I teach women in real estate how to identify, embrace and implement their unique gifts + talents so they can build a successful real estate business on their own terms. My ideal clients are female real estate professionals who want a clear plan of action to grow their business and increase their revenue in a sustainable way, so they can experience more joy and fulfillment in their work.
Tell us about yourself
I built a lucrative career spanning nearly two decades as a successful mortgage professional before embarking on a path that enabled me to marry my passion for helping women grow into the best versions of themselves and my experience, having developed a thriving eight-figure mortgage business. I now work with other women in real estate, empowering them to discover and apply their own unique gifts and talents to their businesses to achieve health, wealth, and freedom. I am on a mission to inspire women in real estate to take radical personal responsibility to build profitable careers and create lives worth living—on their terms. By helping my clients rediscover who they are, reconnect with those around them in meaningful ways, and re-engage themselves in their work using their innate gifts and abilities, I believe we can collectively raise the vibration of the planet and create a ripple effect powerful enough to change our culture's standard of success for generations to come.
In helping my clients discover their soul's true purpose and teaching them through a clear plan of action to co-create a fulfilling life and career that's aligned with their talents and values, my work is disrupting the toxic corporate paradigm that one must sacrifice who they are if they want to be successful. True success is not found through external validation but through the deep work of internal realization and how that recognition is applied holistically to all areas of one's life.
I hold an ICF-accredited dual certification as a Dharma and Spiritual Life Coach. I am also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and a certified Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki tradition. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where I majored in Liberal Arts Studies with a concentration in Music. But my most important qualifications—and those I'm proudest of—come from my lived experience. I've lived through poverty…birth trauma requiring multiple surgeries and physical therapy…experienced domestic violence and abuse…struggled with obesity, addiction, and alcoholism…overcome breast cancer…latched onto a "Boss Babe" identity to try to avoid the pain of being a stranger to myself…always questioning whether this is all there is…to feeling as if my life were an endless cycle of striving, proving, achieving, earning, doing. I've lived it and solved it, and I help my clients do the same.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The feedback I receive from the women I coach and watching them apply the tools they learn in my programs to transform their lives and businesses is by far my biggest accomplishment as a business owner.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is knowing where to start. Getting systems in place can be overwhelming, but it's important to lay a solid foundation to support your growth so that scaling doesn't feel like reinventing the wheel.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get really clear on whom you're here to help and what problems you're helping to solve.
- Don't rely solely on social media to find clients; now is the time to create relationships!
- Don't overthink it. If you can help someone, your responsibility is to do THAT. You can start TODAY without a fancy website or an email list of thousands. Figure out what you can do today and do THAT. Grow as you go!
