What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have my own Life Coaching business, and my customers consist of artists, entrepreneurs, and creative adults who may or may not be struggling with ADHD and need the help of a coach to steer them toward maximizing their full potential.

Tell us about yourself

I have family members with ADHD, and a good portion of my clients also have ADHD, so talking to them about their experiences and their feelings about dealing with ADHD reminds me of my own experiences within my family. So, it makes me even more passionate to want to help my clients grow.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Knowing that I am making a positive difference in my community by helping to empower my clients who need that extra assistance to reach their goals and dreams when they may seem unattainable and seeing many of my clients grow is my greatest accomplishment each and every time.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Communication can be difficult because when everyone on the team is aligned on the goal, then everything runs smoothly. But when you're working with a third party and they're unresponsive or not aligned on what we want to accomplish, then it can make things difficult. And that's when as a business owner, you have to make the tough decisions of doing what is best for yourself and the health of the business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Ask yourself how passionate you are about the business. The reason is if you feel genuinely passionate about that business, then go after it and pour your heart into it.
2. Don't be afraid to try new things when growing or running your business because it's about trying new things and seeing what works and what doesn't.
3. Surround yourself with the right team of individuals with the same vision as you and who want the business to succeed. A strong support system will take you a long way when everyone is on the same mission.
