What's your business, and who are your customers?

Helping women reclaim their vibrancy, feel empowered in their health, and discover how to feel nourished, energized, and balanced without ever dieting again. I provide clients with the exact roadmap to create sustainable health, balanced hormones, a robust metabolism, and find their happy weight through nutrition and lifestyle coaching. My clients are women looking to ditch unhealthy habits, restrictive dieting, and nagging symptoms to finally feel better in their bodies and experience more energy and vibrancy while reclaiming their power to heal and thrive!

Tell us about yourslf

After years of struggling with my own health challenges, chasing fad diets, and getting little support from the traditional healthcare system, I discovered how important our daily habits, behaviors, and nutrition play in the story that is our life. After taking radical responsibility for my health, my symptoms went away, and I restored balance to my body, which allowed me more freedom and joy in my life. I developed a better relationship with my body and an understanding of how to truly nourish and support it. Which many of us are never truly taught or given a positive example of.

I knew this was the work I was here to do and share with other beautiful souls so that they didn't have to suffer in silence, feel overwhelmed or exhausted in their bodies, but show them that we all have the power to heal; we just need the guidance and support to do so. That's what motivates me to help women transform their health and life every day. After all, we are only given one magnificent body that will be with us until the very end of life, and it's up to us how we want to live in it.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been creating my NOURISH program, which has positively impacted the lives of so many women and, as a ripple effect, has impacted so many families. I love seeing the transformation they make in the program, stepping into their empowerment, feeling better in their body, more confident in the kitchen, enjoying the way their clothes fit, and how much energy they have to live their lives more fully.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

No doubt the hardest thing for me has been wearing ALL the hats, at least when you're just starting out. It can be a real challenge to step out of what you do so well and then also step into the marketer, advertiser, salesperson, IT person, admin, etc. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of an online business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you love what you do. If you do, then you will have the stamina and passion to take it from a hobby to a business.
  2. Be willing to be messy. I say perfectionism is the thief of done, so be willing to put yourself out there, experiment, try things out, and look at everything as a learning opportunity. You can always pivot or do things differently next time.
  3. Surround yourself with at least a few business-minded people, entrepreneurial friends, or mentors on whom you can bounce ideas off. Sometimes when you're a solopreneur, it can feel isolating, like you're creating in a vacuum, so to have additional support, mentors, or friends to provide feedback, give input or just listen as you talk through important decisions in your business. That can be a huge support!
