What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a certified and ICF-credentialed coach who helps individuals and organizations transform their realities so they can model world-thriving behaviors.

Tell us about yourself

After a lifetime of learning, including a nonprofit career and two wellness startups, helping individuals and groups transform themselves, as well as their personal and professional realities, is what I’m meant to be doing. Everything I’ve experienced for 55 years, including what I’ve learned from challenging life lessons and the thoughts and emotions attached to them, as well as the countless tools and practices I’ve used to care for myself and gain deeper understanding and spiritual connection, has led me here.

I view coaching as an extension of my life as a wife, mother, family member, friend, and self-actualized global community member. Helping you access and live in your Truth, Identity and Purpose stems from my own experience of discovering and claiming who I’ve always been and will always be along the continuum of my life… and why.

I work best with individuals, groups, and teams who embrace an open-minded and holistic way of seeing yourself and your place in our world. No coaching topic – be it personal or professional – is off-limits or irrelevant. Curiosity over what those limitless possibilities could mean for you and for our world motivates and delights me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment so far in my coaching business is the confidence I feel in my ability to help my clients. In no prior professional endeavor have I ever experienced this deep knowing that what I'm currently doing professionally is spot-on, both timing-wise and in terms of my own truth, identity and purpose. I'm also humbled and honored to be able to help my clients to connect with themselves in similar ways.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is the uphill battle of trying to grow a business that was only ever meant to be an experiment. I've known that feeling with past entrepreneurial ventures. Luckily, it's not something I sense with my newer coaching business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. If you're a service business, prioritize "the work" you do well and minimize the noise around you.
  2. Find ways to collaborate. It's more fun to be maximizing impact with other good business people.
  3. Take care of your body and your mind. Your own well-being is the foundation of any healthy venture.
