What's your business, and who are your customers?

My national coaching practice specializes in the development of human potential and personal effectiveness for executives, business owners, and individuals.

Business Coaching and Consulting Services assist professionals with activating performance solutions in all aspects of sales, marketing, operations, leadership, and communications. Life Coaching and Mentoring Services are well-suited for individuals looking to improve relationships, gain confidence, increase self-awareness, determine career direction, and maintain a healthy work/life balance.

I provide phone, local on-site, and e-mail coaching and encourage potential clients to book a complimentary phone session at http://www.denisedema.com to discuss their objectives and explore how I can help them achieve their short and long-term goals.

Tell us about yourself

I've had a diverse corporate background in senior management with Fortune 500 companies encompassing all facets of business on a national level. My early interest in emotional intelligence and social sciences gave me the tools to effectively motivate, manage and lead different types of personalities to achieve goals.

When I started independently consulting and coaching, my business experience and personal development skills lent themselves to attaining desired outcomes for a diverse client base. My services are personalized to each client's needs. I think outside the box, and I do not use cookie-cutter approaches, which makes my processes a bit unique in the coaching field. Clients that hire me get a seasoned business advisor, strategist, management consultant, entrepreneur, mentor, and personal development coach who is dedicated to creating positive change while driving results.

Just as my background is diverse in nature, so is my client base, which I truly enjoy. Many clients have shared their experiences of working with me on LinkedIn and in my Google business profile (Business and Life Management Coaching) which has given others insight into my abilities, work ethic, and focus in providing value. Happy clients are stable in my business.

My passion for personal development is at the core of my business and life philosophy. With three decades of successfully consulting and coaching professionals and individuals, I remain committed to helping people reach their full potential.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having a 100% referral-based business with a good amount of clients who have me on retainer for years, others repeatedly rehire me for different projects and continue to refer me to other new clients. I feel blessed to have such great long-term professional relationships with clients I truly care about.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Prioritizing. It's not hard, actually, just constantly challenging because business is always changing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

There is so much to create, structure, and develop when starting and running a business but to just name three tips now, I would say master relationship development, focus on operational efficiency, and make a habit of inspecting what you expect!
