Denver’s 1st Social Equity Licensed Cannabis Delivery Company - doobba

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in the cannabis industry but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Ari Cohen, co-founder & co-owner of doobba, a cannabis delivery service located in Denver, Colorado, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are doobba, Denver's first Social Equity Licensed business and Cannabis Delivery Company. Our mission is to end cannabis prohibition.

Tell us about yourself

After four years of working as an Executive in the Cannabis Industry here in CO, I was abruptly laid off.  I then focused all of my time and effort on starting my own business, doobba. So you could say it was a blessing in disguise.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Continuity of our Team. We have had the same team of drivers working for us since day one. There is nothing I am prouder of at this point.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Patience. I am used to working for large billion-dollar companies (previously in the food industry); watching our company grow slowly at this infant stage is tough for me. It's like watching the water boil!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Give yourself a long runway.
  2. Be patient and focused.
  3. Keep Agile.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Order delivery and help us end prohibition one delivery at a time!
