What's your business, and who are your customers?
Doppio Coffee is simply a place of gathering for those who like good food, good coffee, and good people. Our first and foremost goal is to empower the people on our team and the people that we serve. As an Asian and Woman-owned business owner in a predominantly white and male-dominated industry, there is nothing more important to us than to move past the barriers of race and gender and to pursue this venture fueled by our passion for serving others.
Tell us about yourself
I am a wife, mother, friend, and coffee-lover. As the coffee scene grew in Denver, CO, in the past decade or so, I began to develop a passion for a good cappuccino, even more so when it's made by passionate coffee-lovers too. But as a natural caretaker, merging coffee and good service was the best idea because it makes for the best job ever!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to form a team of passionate, kind, and hard-working people. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to make Doppio Coffee what it is today!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is definitely balancing my time between being a wife, mother, and business owner. However, there is nothing more rewarding than being all three!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top three tips for anyone looking to start a business are: work hard, listen to your wise counsel, and most importantly, rest!
