We are the place for you if you are serious about your health and want to live well.

Tell us about yourself

My name is Dr. Saqib Habib, and I'm a Pakistani native. In 1996, my family immigrated to the United States, and I am currently living the American Dream by owning a business. Physical therapy discovered me after I pursued several other professions. Currently, I am the proprietor of a facility that provides one-on-one treatment without dealing with insurance. This approach was developed in response to my prior profession when I was a therapist seeing three to four patients per hour and was compelled to provide subpar care due to the insurance-based conventional model.

The model was taking away my passion, and people were not getting better. I made the bold decision to open my own institution because I felt like I was failing my patients. That is my motivation knowing that I provide a service and value to people to actually help them. My passion is making people smile. Taking patients from pain to smile brings me so much joy. My family and the sacrifices my parents made serve as my inspiration. In order to give their children a better life, my parents left their family in Pakistan. Every morning when I get out of bed, I try to convince them that their sacrifice was worthwhile. Now as an uncle, I do my best to set an example for my nieces and nephews to show them anything is achievable. Being a minority in a profession does not make you less; it's your heart and passion that will carry you far.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My ability to assist hundreds of people in living pain-free over the course of my two years in business has been my greatest success to date. I receive notes from patients every day expressing their joy at being able to wake up pain-free or at having completed an activity pain-free. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I am giving back to the community in which I grew up because I started my business there.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

"Insurance is cheaper" is the hardest obstacle I frequently encounter. I provide patients with enough information on how and why our methodology would help them recover more quickly, but frequently many are skeptical. While no company can match the value and the goods we give, I believe that barrier will no longer exist. Growing the business when insurance is cheaper is a hard task, but it's a task worth chasing as my passion is to provide only the best.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Chase your passion - if you are passionate about what you do, it will grow.
  2. Never quit - business comes with up and downs; to grow, you keep your head down and keep pushing.
  3. Do not compare your success- in business, we often look at others and see how well they are doing. Stop comparing your success to others but compare yourself to your journey and where you were two weeks ago.
