What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Direct to Consumer high-quality work boot company with a unique value proposition that for every purchase, we offer a free resole. Our target customer is a hard-working man working his way up the chain in a skilled trade.

Tell us about yourself

My partners and I have spent our entire careers in the footwear industry. I started in 1975 and worked in all phases of operations, manufacturing, and sourcing. What motivates me every day is the chance to put that knowledge to work for the guys in the trenches, where their boots are just as important as their toolbelts.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Have to know how to do anything, but understand you can't do everything. That is why it is important to find diverse and knowledgeable partners that have fun together.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Know your customer and have a business plan that sets you apart from the competition. Raise three times the money you think you'll need and work three times more than expected. Communicate with all your stakeholders early and often.
