What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a pro Makeup and Hairstylist and the owner of a cosmetic company. My customers are all beauty enthusiasts.
Tell us about yourself
I am Nico Dymynd, a budding beauty boss on the rise in the Atlanta, GA, area. I got my start as a freelance Makeup Artist on the campus of Florida A&M University once I ended my college career to pursue my creative dreams.
After building a lucrative clientele in Florida, I moved my business back to Atlanta. Since my return to the city, I was hired by MAC Cosmetics gaining certified product specialist and management status in under three years, all while maintaining my freelance business.
With many satisfied clients, bridal parties, proms, professional photoshoots, video productions, and more under my belt, I am ready to share The Dymynd Technique with all of you!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been incorporating and turning my beauty hobby into a legitimate, registered business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest part of business ownership is learning and knowing when to pivot your business based on the changing environment and economy.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
