What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am part of our Boston-based team, with deep roots throughout New England, and we are fiercely passionate in our pursuit of making the best soft pretzels on the planet. This passion stemmed from our mutual love for pretzels and a realization that finding one on the market that lived up to our expectations was nearly impossible. So, we decided to make it ourselves.
Tell us about yourself
I've worked in hospitality for as long as I can remember, and I love creating and expressing myself through food. At Eastern Standard Provisions, we strive to create thoughtful, artisanal, and delicious products that can be shared amongst friends. Bringing people together to savor and enjoy life is what we're all about!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We've been lucky enough to see tremendous growth in a short period of time. Seeing that, along with the amazing team we've created, has been extremely rewarding.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There just aren't enough hours in the day! We're always having to choose what to focus on and how to make the biggest impact.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
