What's your business, and who are your customers?

As a digital marketing agency, we focus on the customer journey from contact to contract, including funnels, websites, landing pages, emails, workflows, and operational enhancements, so you spend less time working on your business and more time talking about it!

Tell us about yourself.

I discovered I would be a single mom and needed ownership of my time. I started a web design and marketing business, which transitioned organically over time into a business coaching and sales training company. Nearly a decade later, I've come full service, providing the marketing and operations services I've seen countless others struggle with over the years.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having the time and freedom to work on myself. I love who I am and would not have been afforded that luxury had I been confined to a cubical or working in a structured environment. I have a fantastic relationship with my kiddo; you only get one shot at that. The money will come, but that relationship is PRICELESS.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Whatever is naturally a challenge for you will be MAGNIFIED through your business.

If you need to improve in details:

  • Get a solid financial team early and lean into them often.
  • Contact a strong marketing team if you need to be more naturally creative.
  • If you think in terms of shortcuts and don't read instructions, get a VERY detail-oriented Executive Assistant. You can be excellent at some things, but your business needs everything to be done with excellence.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start before you're ready.
  2. Conversations create cash, period.
  3. It's easier to give a discount than raise your price - start high!
