What's your business, and who are your customers?
Embodied Wellness, PLLC is an online group psychotherapy practice in Michigan that provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults who are ready to heal from trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Sarah Rollins, and I am a clinical social worker. I specialize in Somatic Experiencing, a type of trauma therapy that incorporates the nervous system into healing. I believe that we cannot heal just by focusing on the mind. We have to understand how our bodies are impacted. What motivates me to continue to work with trauma survivors is the perseverance, persistence, and miracles I see on a daily basis. Although I am helping them find access to inner healing, every one of my clients also helps me find my own inner healing too.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to hire therapists to expand the availability of mental health care in our community.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As a business owner, something new is always thrown at you. It’s a 24/7 job. There are certain tasks you can anticipate but others you can prepare for!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Always trust your gut.
- Find like-minded people to bounce ideas off of.
