What's your business, and who are your customers?

Our mission is to provide a safer, more effective alternative to harsh chemical cleaners, all while removing consumers from the cycle of single-use plastic.

Tell us about yourself

Developing user interfaces for the pod interactions and consumer insight to ramp up production and fill in the gaps in a very competitive market.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Sourced a pod in weeks that can take years to do. Sourced a manufacturer that could actively scale up production in months, not years. Leveraging off-the-shelf technology. Sourcing equipment allows production samples to be produced in a few weeks. All were reducing the years of burn to start production and market potential and learning without long-term investment.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being paid in a fair and timely fashion. Sourcing equipment materials needing to leverage my portfolio of talent in a risky venture. Conveying the complexities of formulations and how they are being handled. Also, navigating a very tight market with simple changes to react and execute in a timely manner.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Cut the BS of those outside their scope or field.
  2. Keep an eye on the prize and be flexible to change the business model.
  3. Make CERTAIN that funding for the dream is at hand.
