Everywhere Wireless was formed to provide an alternative internet provider for consumers and businesses. We provide 99.9999% uptime- simply put, our service almost never goes out. And with concierge-level customer service, in the event it does, it’s a simple phone call to a human being in Chicago to have it fixed.
We’re people just like our customers, so we thought about the kinds of things WE would want from an Internet Service Provider, and designed an uncommonly convenient experience we would be proud of — from that friendly first call and easy install to shockingly responsive local
support if ever needed.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We've had a number of celebrations - from providing Internet at most of the beaches and parks in Chicago to receiving external funding from a leading private equity group and being named to the Inc.5000 list of fastest-growing companies. While we're proud of these accomplishments, we are most proud of the Chicagoans that have come to trust us with their Internet service (and love us!) and our team that continues to grow while we challenge the status quo.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Especially when starting, it's all about focus. There are always limited resources, so choosing a path and sticking to it is essential.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Grow a great team - especially co-founders or investors that will help guide the ship.
- Start thinking of your legacy and culture on day one - build towards that mark every day.
- Know what you are getting into through different seasons of your business - you need a different set of skills, energy, and team to get an idea off the ground than what you will need to scale. Know when you need help - and get it!
