What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a men's fashion and lifestyle content creator with over 7 million total followers. I also own four businesses, one of them being my hair product brand Forte Series. My customers are men who strive to become better versions of themselves. Men who are interested in self-development and who want to dress and look their best.
Tell us about yourself
I first started working as a content creator in 2011. I've changed and adapted over those 11 years, and I'm in an exciting place in my career at the moment. I get to help men all over the world feel good about themselves, whether it's by improving their fashion sense or getting the right hairstyle for their face shapes. To me, there's no better feeling than seeing my followers evolve into the men they were meant to be. That's extremely motivational.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is starting my men's hair product brand, Forte Series. It's an incredibly exciting brand that completely changes the way men think about their hair. We show guys that they can look great if they put a small amount of effort into their hairstyles. And then, we give them the correct hair products to achieve that look. Our products are made in the USA from scratch, with masculine scents and high-quality ingredients that don't dry out the hair.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Time management. It's one difficult task for someone running multiple businesses at the same time and trying to push all of them forward aggressively.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Start today. The longer you wait, the harder it will become. There's no "right time." There's only early or late.
