Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in training and education but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Galo Lara, CEO of LaUnitec, located in Phoenix, AZ, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are an online business university that focuses on teaching online businesses to Hispanics.

Tell us about yourself

The lack of online courses for the Latino community got me started on my business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having helped hundreds of students achieve their goals of starting online businesses.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Risk management to invest in the business. Online advertising is the biggest and riskiest expense but the most rewarding once you know you can make a profit out of it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

You don’t need huge or expensive equipment. I started this $100K a month business with an 8-year-old laptop and myself, nothing else. If you have a good offer/product, it will eventually take off and allow you to pay for more equipment and employees which will allow you to grow faster.
