What's your business, and who are your customers?

Gluteboost is a beauty and wellness company that provides non-invasive solutions for women’s curve-enhancement needs. Our audience is predominantly women, 18 to 44 years old, living in the USA, are body-positive conscious, aware of healthy lifestyles, and active on social platforms.

Tell us about yourself

I am a millennial that loves beauty and loves inspiring other women! I have an academic background in biology with a concentration in human molecular biology, but I have always been in the business world. Gluteboost has been such an amazing venture because I have finally been able to unite my science background with business. I love what I do; I love Gluteboost and the amazing opportunity I have been able to have to impact other people’s lives through our innovative products. Building and growing a company is no easy task, and I have to say it has been our customers’ feedback and results that have been our biggest motivation to keep taking the company to the next level. Not doing so would be unfair to all of those who haven’t heard about Gluteboost!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been uniting my professional, academic, and personal goals in one company. Not only that these three coalesce beautifully in Gluteboost, but I can humbly say we are a successful company, and we continue to grow! My love for entrepreneurship, my love for science and beauty, and the passion I have to inspire and give back to other women (and doing all of this at the same time) is my biggest accomplishment.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Knowing you will fail at times. That’s hard to accept. You just don’t want to fail!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You need to ask yourself the question, “how much am I willing to sacrifice?”
  2. Read, read, read. You should never stop learning.
  3. Understand your customer/audience well.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You need passion and vision with innovation to move forward. If you don’t, you’ll be a great operator, but you will not grow exponentially.
