Tell us about yourself

I am on a mission to redefine the way that emerging tech companies leverage proven marketing leadership. With my team of the greatest marketing minds in all of B2B Tech, my company, GROW Powerful, is delivering proven and innovative growth strategies and operations to the most innovative companies in the world. Before GROW, I grew and sold Market Creation Group, a B2B Tech Marketing Agency, over a 13-year period. During that time, I served over 230 clients, of which 36 had successful exit events. I have always been an advocate of the power of marketing, including growth, demand creation, awareness building, and my core belief that the brand is the soul of a business. I host "Grow Up with GROW," a weekly podcast where I provide marketing guidance to emerging tech CEOs and their PE/VC investors.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm fortunate to be surrounded by the greatest growth marketing minds in all of Technology. And the collection keeps growing!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Realizing that there's not just one silver bullet. There are 30-70 of them that need to be deployed at any given time. Stay focused. Keep your eye on the target, and be proud to share your goals/targets with everyone. They want to help you succeed.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. There's never been a better time than now to start a business. The amount of technology that makes one person scale is incredible.
  2. Use technology to scale farther and faster.
  3. Delegate as quickly as possible. Virtual Assistants, and other team members, of them can be your greatest asset if you set them up for success. Share your vision, make sure they share your core values, and let them be part of the journey.
