What's your business, and who are your customers?

Happy Yak sell Yak Cashmere and Alpaca socks, beanies, and accessories.

Tell us about yourself

We started this company about four years ago. We are motivated by working with all noble fibers to provide customers with super high-quality socks and beanies.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We love working with the nomadic yak herders to help contribute to them being able to continue to work their ancestral way of life.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

COVID has provided a lot of distributions to manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. However, we are working through it, just like everybody else.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find something you love to do.
  2. Stay flexible.
  3. Make your primary goal to provide value to the customer, and the rest should work itself out in the long run.
