What's your business, and who are your customers?

HCG is a Management Consulting practice that empowers companies to attain new heights of growth and performance. Our customers are mid-market through enterprise companies in scale ($25MM+) that want to create sustainable growth and accelerate organizational performance. HCG serves clients in the manufacturing, technology, transportation, healthcare, and financial sectors.

Tell us about yourself

Serving in various executive leadership roles, the primary issue that weighed on me was the ability to see around the corner and be predictive in the business. I have spent more than 12 years developing consulting services, or "playbooks," that assist executive teams in objectively understanding their current state and predicting the future state.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Working with clients, such as Staples, to streamline their operations and gain significant efficiencies has been particularly rewarding.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

After spending a career in corporate America, the toughest challenge in starting a new business is the stark reality of working alone. Motivation and success fall squarely on your shoulders.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
