Spiritual Wellness and Clarity - Healing Purpose

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Krysta Theus, CEO of Healing Purpose, LLC., located in Katy, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Healing Purpose LLC provides personalized and comprehensive wellness through integrative and immersive experiences that not only tap into the client's mental, spiritual, and emotional states but also update 'core programming' to achieve desired goals and outcomes! We also provide coaching solutions to organizations and teams to address structural and cultural blockages (e.g., baggage), providing the clarity needed to achieve desired goals. Our customers are new and emerging leaders who value wellness & balance, performance improvement, and personal and professional growth, as well as those that seek to better demonstrate change agility and resilience to changes experienced in life. These clients use my services because I provide a 'safe space and process' formula that works for individual and team optimization and mindset reengineering to achieve one's goals.

Tell us about yourself

Though a newbie on my entrepreneurial journey, I've been coaching and advising leaders in various capacities and roles for over 20 years. The COVID pandemic was a significant catalyst in prompting me to start Healing Purpose formally. I am motivated each day by the possibility of providing support for those that hold space for others. Leaders need space spaces to be vulnerable, open, and honest about their desires, concerns, and opportunities. They also need their cup to be filled through direct and compassionate guidance and feedback. I've been blessed to have some amazing leaders and mentors. I strive to pay it forward to those that perhaps may not have been as fortunate or those that have great mentors but seek a comprehensive 'full self' review and approach for growth.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is being an inspiration to other business owners and leaders to take hold of their dreams and fly! The feeling and impact of facilitating change and clarity in others' lives for the better, as well as helping organizations achieve the transformative goals that they desire, are amazing!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

When you do what you love, you love what you do, and 'work' doesn't feel like 'work.' The overflow of commitment and passion can make it difficult to delegate administrative support tasks, for instance, when you know how to perform the tasks and have such personal investment in the outcomes of the tasks. I've learned the value of networking and delegation and am starting the enjoy the peace of mind that comes with them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Ground your dreams - Visions are fun and fantastic! Fuel your passions and excitement but be sure to develop the tactical and tangible plans as well.
  2. Work smarter, not harder- Looking beyond the cliche advice, take note of the resources around you and leverage them. Never underestimate the potential in EVERY interaction and relationship.
  3. Trust your gut!- It is NEVER wrong. That feeling is there for a reason. Ask yourself why you have reoccurring thoughts of starting a business, launching an additional service offering, or starting a partnership. Take note of the emotions around the thoughts or decision, self-evaluate that reaction, and validate your 'gut assumptions' to determine your best path or approach forward.
