What's your business, and who are your customers?

Health Junkie is a meal prep service. We make healthy food that tastes great! We serve people all over the Twin Cities who want to eat healthily. Our clients range from young families, and single individuals, all the way to elderly folks that have us deliver to their homes.

Tell us about yourself

I used to be a fitness competitor and personal trainer, so I was used to mealing prepping. My personal training client's biggest struggle across the board was their food. And everyone knows results stem from what we put into our bodies. I started out meal prepping for just a few clients, and then from there, it just took off.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The fact that I've been in business six years now and that we have had quite a few professional athletes enjoy our meals, including a handful of Minnesota Vikings.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I love being a business owner, but if I had to choose, the hardest thing is probably that I don't get to clock out on nights and weekends and forget about work.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Definitely do it! Chase your dreams. Start small.
