Tell us about yourself

I am a corporate dropout that left an unfulfilling career working for large corporations to pursue a more aligned lifestyle by starting my own business. I love that I get the choice of when I work, who I work with and how I structure my days. Without any entrepreneurs in my family, it was hard to see a path forward, but I knew that it was something I had to do. Every day I'm motivated by continuing to create a life I love and work with inspiring business owners to help them achieve their next level of success.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is getting to a place where my business is ready to bring on additional help and really scale to the next level. When I started out, I figured that I'd probably make less money than I did in corporate, but it has been the exact opposite, and I love that I have proved myself wrong. This took a lot of rewiring beliefs, and that isn't easy work, so I'm proud of myself for overcoming what could've been obstacles.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things is putting up and keeping boundaries in place. I could work all the time, but that's not why I started this business. I started it so I could slow down and really enjoy life more.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Figure out your why behind what you are creating. This is a guiding light and will keep you moving in the right direction.
  2. Work on your mindset. Having limiting beliefs can really impede on your success.
  3. Reach out for help. Running a business can feel very isolating, and it's important to have people in your corner.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Since starting my business, I truly believe anything is possible. If you have an idea, figure out how to test the waters with it and if it feels aligned and authentic, then go for it!
