Tell us all about your business...

Social Media can be Challenging! We help Businesses rise above the chatter with “Customized Campaigns” for Products • Services.

What's your background and motivation to grow as a solopreneur?

Grew up as a nomad with about 30 moves & schools in my childhood which translates in "Never Met A Stranger" - love meeting people.
I transitioned out of my first career as a school principal of (5 campuses) to being a Digital Strategist. Guide others on "How to Use Social Media to Build & Maintain Relationships". Digital space offers a world of complete connectivity and I enjoy helping others discover the huge benefits of "global connections".

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Knowing that my skills & expertise helped someone else feel comfortable using Social Media for their business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?

2021 taught us that! The ups and downs and the importance of always looking ahead and being prepared.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?

  1. Do it because you LOVE it!
  2. Have a Plan (doesn't have to be 20 pages but do know what you want to do and how you plan to get there.
  3. Understand that those closest to you might NOT be your biggest supporters or cheerleaders. It's the first lesson of entrepreneurship. You do it because it's what you believe you are called to do.

If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?

Have a looking glass into the future. All kidding aside, I think it is just setting aside time to continue to LEARN.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance and to keep it all together?

Complete honesty and transparency here. That is a work in progress and I am way back at the starting line. I love what I do and I always say if you see me running call the police - I Don't Jog! I would rather work than exercise.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

As a former educator, there is nothing more critical than remaining a "Life-Long Learner". There are so many resources out there and I am continually taking advantage of them. It is the best gift I give myself and those we work with.
