What's your business, and who are your customers?
Imagine Scholarships is a database filled with thousands of scholarships to help high school students, current college students, students going to trade schools, and adult learners. In addition, it offers internships and hundreds of videos and resources to help students of all ages be successful.
Tell us about yourself
After helping students through the college admissions process for many years, I found that the limiting factor for students everywhere is financial. When I saw a universal need, I wanted to find a solution for all. I was a first-generation college student, so helping others finish their educational dreams and goals was very important to me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having the opportunity to partner with Baylor University and many school districts has been personally rewarding.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner allows for unbridled opportunities. If I can dream it, I can do it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- No is never an option.
- If serving is below you, leadership is beyond you.
- Relationships are the key.
