Buchwald Digital Consulting provides a range of digital services, including advertising, design, social media, and data management, to small and medium-sized businesses. Our aim is to empower our clients by offering the necessary tools and strategies to improve their business and generate more leads.

Tell us about yourself

My name is Josh Buchwald, and I am from Parkland, FL. As a student at the University of Florida, I am pursuing a degree in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. With seven years of experience in freelancing, I have honed my skills in various areas, such as data management and web design. I have a passion for continuous learning and personal development, and I am driven to share my knowledge and expertise with clients. Six months ago, I established my own business with a focus on providing exceptional service to my clients. My daily motivation is the satisfaction of my clients with the results of my work.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Initially, my older brother Adam and I established this business as a two-person operation while pursuing our studies at the University of Florida. In recent weeks, we have experienced significant growth and have expanded our team by hiring 13 additional employees!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing a business while still in college can be a significant challenge, but it is possible to achieve success. Balancing the demands of academic pursuits and running a business requires strong time management skills, discipline, and a clear focus on priorities. However, with hard work and determination, it is possible to succeed and gain valuable experience that can set a strong foundation for future endeavors.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Develop a clear and concise business plan. Starting with a well-defined business plan can help you understand your target market, set achievable goals, and determine the resources you need to succeed.
  2. Focus on customer satisfaction. Your customers are the lifeblood of your business, so it's crucial to prioritize their needs and provide exceptional service. This can help you build a loyal customer base and establish a positive reputation in the marketplace.
  3. Stay adaptable and flexible. The business landscape is constantly evolving, so it's important to be open to change and willing to pivot when necessary. Be willing to experiment and try new things, and be ready to adjust your strategy if something isn't working. The ability to stay flexible and adapt to new circumstances is key to sustained success and growth.
