Guiding Business Women - Kaprice Marie

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kaprice Dal Cerro, founder of Kaprice Marie, LLC., located in Chicago, IL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Kaprice Marie, LLC helps women navigate through the early stages of their business and teaches them all the little things that will help them grow. We provide the missing puzzle pieces that make it easier for women to feel confident and start moving forward in their business journey. Sometimes it's hard to talk about the more "boring" aspects of building your business, so we focus on the things that will stand the test of time. We talk about the good, better, and best steps you can take to ensure security and success for your company.

We're passionate about empowering women to achieve their goals by guiding them from where they currently are – "I don't know" – to "I know how to." Helping women find success by providing them the direction, resources, and tools they need to take their business to the next level. The end result is a secure business foundation that keeps both your business and family assets safe. You'll also have peace of mind as you go about your daily affairs!

Tell us about yourself

Ever since I was a young girl, I have had an interest in the business. That interest continues today as I do what I can to promote women entrepreneurs and help them launch their businesses. It's incredible to see these women take the initiative and make their ideas a reality with just some creativity and support.

I believe when you provide others with the resources, techniques, and tools, you are helping to plant the seeds allowing others to grow their passions and dreams. And that's where my business journey starts, perhaps similar to yours and like so many other business owners.

Why do I get excited?

I love watching and helping other women build their dreams. I have been there, I know how frustrating it can be, and I have found it my passion for researching, sharing tools and processes, and building an action plan (roadmap) for women business owners. Being a part of the aha moment for others, like when they understand something I've explained, lights me up.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is not giving up. Being a business owner is a bumpy path and one you need to keep developing and building.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is setting boundaries for yourself. It can be an endless struggle not to feel you "should" be working seven days a week on your business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take your time.
  2. Be consistent.
  3. Educate yourself on everything.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Make sure to tune out all the "noise" and follow your intuition. Build your business the way you want, even if people don't agree with you or understand your vision. It may or may not work out, but you can always make changes. Also, find a support system. You can't do it alone and having the support of others helps you to keep moving forward.
