What's your business, and who are your customers?

Kelli Jagger Branding is a space for small businesses and influencers looking to expand their marketing presence and social media brand. Between offering social media management packages and consulting services, I offer all types of services for those wanting to take their brand to the next level by creating a strong social presence! For those who want to do things themselves, we have recently opened an Etsy store with all editable templates for all your branding needs.

Tell us about yourself

I have always been described by others as a "digital leader." Started my own marketing consulting business, Kelli Jagger Branding, while running a blog and YouTube channel called FashionablyKelli, and branded myself with this title. From a young age, I have been working as a fashion blogger, freelance social media manager, and hosting a mental health podcast, Girl Recovering, all while planning and eventually creating my company. As such, I have always had a natural desire to take advantage of any exciting opportunity that comes my way. I'm motivated each day to grow my skills, learn new things, and follow where my passions lead me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing my first client achieve their goals and grow their social media brand to get their first-ever brand deal!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Overcoming the fear of failure! It takes a lot to put yourself out there and create a business since it essentially becomes your baby. You have to train yourself not to let negative opinions affect you and remain confident in yourself and your mission.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Keep an open mind & be flexible - things in the market change constantly, so make sure to remain agile with your strategy!
  2. Stay up to date with industry trends to give your business a competitive edge. This will be your secret weapon!
  3. Fake it til you make it! It might take some time to get consumer buy-in, but if you are confident in yourself, others will be confident in you.
