What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer mentorship for businesses and individuals and provide inspirational and educational content and life coaching certification courses. My customers are small business owners. People interested in personal spiritual growth. Those unable to have successful relationships or cultivate a relationship, those who do not have a purpose in their life or trying to find their purpose. Those who simply need support while they undergo life changes.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a Spiritual entrepreneur. I've coached over 35,000 people in 30 countries. I've appeared on ABC, CBS, and NBC TV and hundreds of radio programs across the US, UK, and Europe. I'm known for compassionate and practical advice. The author of 5 published works. Including the Energy of Abundance and Bouncing Back with the late Dr. Wayne Dyer. What motivates me each day is the thrill and honor of helping people in their lives. Also, being able to use my creativity to remain relevant, interesting, and useful in the marketplace.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having a successful business for the past 15 years and being able to raise my kids doing it.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The early years before you have brand or name recognition and coping with cyclical income cycles. Once you get the hang of it, being a business owner is a joy on every level.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Sincerity and integrity are everything. It's more important than money. Your clients and customers will forgive just about anything if they trust you and know you mean them well. They will refer people, and they will come back time and time again. Be a beacon of integrity in the sea of charlatans and self-serving people.
  2. Consistency is your best friend. Small steps are almost always better than large steps. Learn to appreciate the "building," not just the "getting" to your destination. Then you will create something stable and reliable.
  3. Make sure you love everything you put your time into. At the very least, you see value in your actions. Focus on that value if it gives your life true purpose. If you are not happy and feeling great about what you do, stop. Get into a mindset and a state of being where you feel wonderful about what you are doing, writing, saying, or producing. That energy will carry itself forward. If your creation/action begins with negativity, it will attract and end with negativity. Short version. You are your business. Be mindful of the energy you use to create your business, your marketing, your content, and anything.
