What's your business, and who are your customers?

KlockItGolf is a woman-owned business specializing in golf training products. Our product is designed to help new or beginner golfers.

Tell us about yourself

Two years ago, I owned and operated a cafe as well as a catering company. We had been in business for over twenty years when the pandemic hit. We were forced to close our doors. My husband had also decided to retire from the fire department after 32 years which left us both with a lot of time on our hands. So like 2 million other Americans, we decided to take up golf. The problem was I was not very good. I would get up to the tee and slice my ball left and right, and I just wanted to Klock it down the middle. I decided to come up with a training tool that I could use on my own back with no one watching me. I started with a pair of lady's nylons, a golf ball, and a spike. After many iterations, I came up with what is now known as KlockItGolf.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Taking an idea from prototype to market.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Stay positive.
