Strategic Planning Solutions For Start-ups - Kringel

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Hui Yang, Founder of Kringel LLC, located in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is mainly about providing strategic planning and advice to start-up companies. One of the main projects that I've been working on is the decentralization of the traditional finance system. I want to publish my own crypto as well as a platform for people to trade with confidence that their savings/investments would not be maliciously used/embezzled by people who only want to make profits.

Tell us about yourself

I am originally from China and came to the US when I was 11. I did my undergrad at UCLA with a degree in Cognitive Science and a specialization in computing. I then worked as a data analyst at a Veterinary School called Western University of Health Sciences. This year, I'm pursuing my master's degree in Business Analytics at USC. I would say what motivated me everything is the drive that I no longer want to work for anybody except for myself, and also the idea that I would not be money's servant but would become the master of money.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would say meeting a group of amazing friends and start-up founders who share similar values and drive as me. Start-up is a lonely journey..and you need companionship along the way to keep you motivated.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Seeking talents and making revenue, as a start-up founder, our funding chain is limited that we want to lower the cost/expense to the degree that I need to downgrade my lifestyle and forego a lot of social activities, yet at the same time to maximize the profits as much as possible.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. It's never too late to start your own business as long as you are motivated.
  2. Running and growing a business is a tough and long-winded journey, be prepared that your business might not work the way you want it to.
  3. Never, ever forget about the initial intention of why you want to start your own business. Never lose that drive.
