What's your business, and who are your customers?

Provide Business Analysis and Data Visualization. We create Dashboards and reporting tools for executive and business owner consumption. Customers range from small 25+ people teams to mid-sized businesses. The majority of our customers are in the e-commerce, retail, software (SaaS), real estate, and logistics industries.

Tell us about yourself

I worked for a fortune 500 company and was responsible for global reporting and analytics. After a while, I was able to recognize the growing demand for data management and visualizations, as well as better reporting solutions for senior management. I observed that most successful and profitable businesses have a better and more timely understanding of their business trends. Everything from predicting consumer behavior and improving operational efficiencies to improving long-term business growth and profitability can be derived from well-managed and structured data. Numbers are fascinating. I'm motivated by the success of my clients and my own accomplishments.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Reduced operating costs by 16% in an e-commerce division by implementing process and reporting automation. Implemented a Financial System and automated reporting solutions, which saved $3M in costs for a SaaS start-up, enabling them to go public. A high percentage of client retention and customer success and satisfaction. This, in turn, translates into higher business volume for my company.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Learning to be comfortable with uncertainty. Building the right team.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Keep an open mind. You never know where the next opportunity may arise.
  2. Turn challenges into opportunities. Reframe the way you think of obstacles.
  3. Try, try, and try more. Never give up. Persistence is the key to success.
