What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a certified holistic nutrition health coach. I specialize in helping women free themselves from diet lifestyle and disordered eating and healing their relationship with food by utilizing clean ingredient resources.
Tell us about yourself
The inspiration for my business was my own healing journey. I personally struggled with a bad food relationship and heavily relied on diet industry tips, which ultimately hurt me physically, and emotionally. With all that being said, it inspired me to make sustainable changes for myself, my family, my friends, and my community. I began sharing it with the people closest to me, and it just grew from there—a true passion project. I really do get so psyched about learning and evolving my knowledge of nutrition and how our bodies thrive with the proper foods. That is what keeps me excited to do this work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to help people not only around the country but around the world. Because of technology, I’ve gotten to work with clients worldwide.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I would say balancing the many hats one has to wear as a business owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make sure the business is something you’re passionate about. If you’re not excited or passionate about the subject, it will be really hard to stay disciplined and motivated, and excited on a daily basis
