Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Dana Loberg, founder, and CEO of Leo AR, located in Austin, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Leo AR is one of the leading consumer-facing AR apps. Anyone can have flying sharks, dancing unicorns, or planets in their bedrooms. Our customers are families. Both parents and children love our app.

Tell us about yourself

Leo AR grew from a sticker marketplace called MojiLaLa. We started to see people using animated stickers on their videos and photos, and when ARKit came to the market, we knew people would want to supercharge their photos and videos with 3D realistic objects. We immediately started to build Leo AR to allow anyone, at any age, to live in any world they wanted to create.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is having the opportunity to work on a frontier technology and allowing others to be a part of shaping our future in technology.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Prioritizing what to execute first or last is probably the most difficult.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Make sure it's a business you are going to be obsessed with. Build out relationships early with people who will help you build them. And find a mentor.
