Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health supplements but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Levi Leon, Founder of LevelUp, located in Orlando, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

LevelUp specializes in dietary supplements that promote your best lifestyle. Many of our products support natural energy, mental clarity, anti-aging, and overall body optimization.

Our customers are health-conscious individuals who are looking for natural supplements to help them achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals. We strive to get the most out of each day, and our supplements reflect that initiative.

Tell us about yourself

I have always been fascinated by the science behind supplements ever since I was a teenager. I realized early on that with the right combination of ingredients, supplements could have a positive impact on so many aspects of life.

As a former personal trainer, I found myself constantly recommending supplements to my clients, but I was often disappointed with the quality of products available on the market. I wanted to be able to recommend supplements that I truly believed in, and that's what motivated me to start my own business.

Now, as the owner of my own supplement company, I am motivated each day by the knowledge that our products are making a real difference in people's lives. It's incredibly rewarding to hear from customers who have experienced significant improvements in their health and wellness as a result of using our supplements.

I am also motivated by the opportunity to continue learning and experimenting with new ingredients and formulations in order to make our products even better. It's a constantly evolving field, and I find it exciting to be at the forefront of it.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

For me, the biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been the positive impact that our supplements have had on people's lives. While financial success and business growth are certainly important, it's the personal stories that truly motivate me.

I can't tell you how rewarding it is to hear directly from customers about how our supplements have helped them to overcome health challenges, improve their overall well-being, and achieve their fitness goals. Knowing that we are making a lasting, positive impact on people's lives is incredibly satisfying and is what keeps me going every day.

Of course, financial success and business growth are also important markers of success, and I'm proud of the progress that we've made in those areas as well. But ultimately, it's the personal connections and the knowledge that we are making a real difference that are the most meaningful accomplishments to me as a business owner.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner, for me, is not getting too caught up in my passion for the industry. I absolutely love creating new product concepts and experimenting with different ingredients, and it's easy for me to get lost in that process. However, as a business owner, I need to be able to focus on what needs to be done, even if it's not always the most exciting or creative task. Sometimes I have to force myself to step back from the more fun aspects of the job and focus on the more mundane tasks that are necessary to keep the business running smoothly.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. It's essential to have confidence in yourself and your ideas. Don't be afraid to take risks and try something different. Getting caught up in what others are doing can be easy, but remember that your unique perspective and approach will set you apart in the marketplace.
  2. It's essential to follow your passion indeed. This may sound like a cliche, but it's a piece of advice I've found incredibly valuable. There will inevitably be times when you feel discouraged or frustrated, and your passion will help you push through those tough times and emerge stronger and more successful on the other side.
  3. I recommend removing as many distractions and anything poor quality from your life as possible, such as lousy people, food, or entertainment. Focus on quality over quantity and stay focused on what's important. It's vital to remain disciplined and prioritize your time and energy in a way that allows you to give your business the attention and effort it deserves.

Starting, running, and growing a business is a challenging but enriching experience. By staying committed to your goals and vision, you can set yourself up for success and make your entrepreneurial dreams a reality quicker than you think.
