Tell us about yourself

As a consumer, I grew frustrated with overpaying for products that were under-delivering. Liv With Nature started out as an All-Natural Hair Care Company after the unexpected experience of hair loss. This led to the realization that what we put IN our bodies is just as important as what we put ON our bodies. The search for all-natural products that were paraben-free, preservative-free, didn't comprise any derivative of sulfate, and also budget-friendly was more than a struggle; the creation of handmade products became the true solution. Since then, the Liv With Nature All-Natural product line has expanded, providing not only high-quality products that give great benefits but also assisting others in changing the way they look at products as a whole. My forever goals are to provide quality, budget-friendly, plant-based all-natural products for every essential need.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is quitting my full-time job in the Technology world that was based in Northern California to relocate to Atlanta, GA, to become a store owner inside the New Black Wall Street Market in Stonecrest, GA. The amount of community support and level of outreach that I have obtained has been nothing short of amazing.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest things that can come with being a business owner is the achieving a consistent flow of marketing (in all aspects) and weathering the storm when it comes to the land of retail. So many factors affect the land of marketing, such as the time of the year, the season as well as the location/environment. It may take multiple attempts to figure it out, which definitely needs a lot of patience and perseverance.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a solution to a problem that either you have or that you see many folks have.
  2. Determining your customer/client base is VITAL.
  3. Know and utilize marketing techniques.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

What we put in our bodies is just as important as what we put in our bodies. "When you respect nature, nature will respect you..."
