What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a boutique bakery that specializes in French macarons, artisan chocolates, gelato, and various treats such as shortbread. We are also a Sno Biz Shaved Ice dealer. Love Desserts truly has something for everyone.
Tell us about yourself
Love Desserts was created out of love for high-quality, authentic treats. After lots of prayer and steps of faith, the original company was founded in 2017. Driven by Christ-centered core values, we strive for our customers' unwavering reliability, integrity, and passion. Among these key values, Love Desserts' top priority is to provide high-quality treats to our customers.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would say that my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating the vision of Love Desserts and bringing it to life.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
COVID-19. :-) Aside from that, the hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is getting people on board that have the same vision for your company that you have. It's challenging finding those key people that you can trust to help push your company to its highest potential.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Research your locations of interest well. What may seem like a good area to bring your business to may not be as welcoming, receptive, and/or appreciative of what you have to offer.
- Always read the fine print.
- Advertising and marketing will be your best friend and a key factor in your success.
