Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Lena Viktoria Frenzel, Owner of Lucid Achievement, located in Laguna Beach, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Lucid Achievement is a coaching business; we guide our clients to live a life of fulfillment and abundance of health, spiritual connection, and high performance. These aspects comprise the three central pillars we build our practice around. Some clients might want to focus more on time management, prioritization, and business strategies to strive for high performance. In contrast, others must address their health concerns first to make the most significant impact in their lives. Whatever the situation, we firmly believe that building a solid foundation is needed to make a lasting change in life. We have guided many of our clients through this journey, and we believe it is essential to see our clients in their wholeness to make sustainable changes in their lives. Having their vision align with life and putting them in a proactive state of action is what we deliver.

Tell us about yourself

I believe you can take control of your dreams every single day. I have a lot to share regarding performance optimization - learned when working for global brands, among them the best technology companies in Silicon Valley- such as Google, Facebook, YouTube, Machine Zone, and Nike.

Now, as the CEO of my company, I passionately serve people in their mission to live a Lucid Life. Through my business, Lucid Achievement, I supply strategic life coaching to empower people to realize their dreams, similar to how I realized my own.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as the owner of Lucid Achievement is seeing my clients succeed after finishing their coaching programs. Seeing my clients thrive signifies that I have done my job well. Here in Lucid Achievement, we focus on helping you unlock the best version of yourself, and once I successfully help my clients reach their set goals and even exceed them beyond their wildest dreams, I experience deep gratitude and joy.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Time management is tricky when you run an operation with 8 employees and many clients. Especially when you are balancing your own wheel of life and your individual personal development work, it is important to keep good boundaries around time and switch off when it is time to switch off. I feel grateful for the amazing Lucid family of team members and clients that support me and encourage me to take time off. Without them, it wouldn't be possible.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Set your goals. The moment you plan to run a business, you should have your plans and ideas laid out. Try seeing yourself and your business a few years from now. Where do you want to be, and how will people see your company?
  2. It won't always be sunshine and rainbows. Running a business won't be easy, especially in the beginning when you are in the process of establishing your name. It takes guts and perseverance to be able to sustain it no matter the odds.
  3. Adapt and overcome. Indeed in your business journey, you will face numerous problems that will test your stability and persistence as an owner. Despite the challenges thrown at you, always have a mindset that these obstacles are what make you an effective business owner. Adapt, improvise, and overcome at all times.
