What's your business, and who are your customers?
My team and I have developed a revolutionary, patented infusion process using only water, pressure, and steam to naturally put our flavors inside a nut. With our process, the flavors are absorbed directly into the nut, enhancing the taste without adding a single additive or drop of oil. It is incredibly delicious and also incredibly healthy.
Tell us about yourself
I am an entrepreneur, an inventor, a father, and now a snack pioneer. My goal is to leave a legacy of success for my girls and their future families.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have invented and sold products and ideas to many major companies, from M&M mars to The Walt Disney company. Amongst my biggest accomplishments was the founding of America's first dollar Store Chain. But my story does not end there. In fact, it's just the beginning. I am on a quest to make PIZOOTZ an international brand.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having to juggle so many hats, from finance to machinery, from distribution to reps, from selling to shipping. The thing that makes it bearable is the great people you have around you that are providing knowledge and guidance.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Also, find the best people you can to help you!
- Keep them happy by providing the proper incentives!
- listen to your people and if you disagree, make sure you explain why!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Make a plan, then execute the plan and remember changing your plan is always ok, but it does change the outcome.
Two rules in business, 1. the customer is always right. 2. if the customer is wrong, see rule one.
