My name is Nicolas Buffone, and I am the co-founder of Expandify Marketing. What first got me started working on my business was a course that I stumbled upon. After learning about the massive opportunity in the field, I decided to take the chance and pursue it with my business partner. Together, we worked hard to build our business from the ground up, and it's been an amazing journey since then.

What motivates me each day to do what I do is the drive to constantly improve and grow. The satisfaction of seeing our clients succeed and the impact we make on their businesses is truly rewarding. Additionally, the ever-evolving nature of the field and the constant need to stay ahead of the curve keeps me motivated to continue learning and pushing boundaries. I am passionate about my business and enjoy helping my clients succeed.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, my biggest accomplishment is helping other brands scale their revenues through our team's marketing efforts.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

As a business owner, the responsibility of keeping the business running falls on your shoulders. This means that even on days when you may not feel motivated or have personal issues, you still have to show up and make sure that the business is operating smoothly. It can be difficult to separate your personal life from your professional life and make an effort to be present and focused on work when you're not feeling your best. Additionally, there may be times when the demands of the business are overwhelming, and it can be challenging to maintain the drive and determination needed to keep pushing forward. This is one of the hardest aspects of being a business owner, as it requires a high level of dedication, resilience, and self-discipline to consistently show up and give your best effort.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Develop a solid business plan: Having a clear and detailed business plan is essential for any business, whether you're just starting out or looking to expand. A business plan should include your goals, target market, competitive analysis, and financial projections, among other things. By having a solid plan in place, you'll be better equipped to make informed decisions and stay on track to achieve your goals.
  2. Focus on customer service: Providing excellent customer service is critical for building a strong and loyal customer base. Make sure that you understand your customer's needs and are responsive to their feedback. By going above and beyond to meet their expectations, you'll be more likely to retain their business and earn positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
  3. Stay adaptable: Running a business is full of surprises, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities is essential. By being open to change and constantly looking for ways to improve, you'll be better equipped to navigate the ups and downs of business ownership. Be ready to pivot, change direction and take calculated risks to take the opportunity and capitalize on it.
