MPWRSource believes that empowering businesses and nonprofits helps strengthen communities.

MPWRSource strives to be known as a forum for empowerment for small businesses, microbusinesses, nonprofits, and startups who are growth-minded and driven by the purpose of serving as positive change agents.

Tell us about yourself

I embraced the vision of MPWRSource and realized that my personal experience as a 2-time entrepreneur, transformation executive, and former consultant was directly applicable to small businesses, microbusinesses, and nonprofits with best practices, strategy, operations, technology, process, and, most importantly, people.

Additionally, the founder, Tiffany Joy Greene’s MBA, passion, vision, and dedication to the purpose of helping better communities by helping small businesses, microbusinesses, and nonprofits grow and thrive drew me to MPWRSource. Tiffany and I share the same desire, which is to be positive change agents by helping as many businesses, nonprofits, and people grow and solve problems as possible.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Anytime a customer refers me to another business/individual, I consider that a huge accomplishment.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the most challenging things that come with being a business owner is having to stand by and watch someone repeat the same mistakes as others, much like the challenge of parenting.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Recognize that you are not the smartest person in the room – keep your ego in check.
  2. Control your emotions, take time to listen and absorb, and then act.
  3. Make the best decision you can at the time with the information you have, and don’t be afraid to change the decision when new information becomes available.
