What's your business, and who are your customers?
I run a web agency with a special focus on SEO. Our customers are small to medium businesses that want to improve their search engine visibility and grow their revenues online.
Tell us about yourself
My passion for connecting with entrepreneurs, discovering their needs, and striving to assist them as much as possible was what sparked my journey. As a customer, I was often left unsatisfied, so I wanted to make a difference on a personal level by bettering the service I had received as a consumer.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest achievement has been maintaining a close-knit team despite the economic climate, as well as acquiring a building for our office space (transitioning into a new venture).
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As a business owner, one of the most challenging tasks is overseeing human resources. Everyone with a business background understands this clearly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Outline your motivations for embarking on this venture and jot them down for reference when your enthusiasm is waning.
- Surround yourself with individuals who will help you achieve success and avoid rushing to expand your team.
- Avoid comparing yourself too much to others, especially competitors. Focus on doing your best on any given day, and you should be successful.
