New Age Psychiatry is revolutionizing the field of mental health care. Our goal is to make treatment easier and more accessible than ever before. We offer telehealth services with personalized, evidence-based care for adults, adolescents, and children struggling with attention deficit disorder, depression, anxiety, as well as other psychiatric issues. Our comprehensive program has options for medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic life coaching for advice on healthy living and self-care. We are committed to providing our clients with a safe environment in which they can openly express their feelings and struggles in order to reach a healthier place in their lives. Mental health services are becoming increasingly sought after, particularly since the rise in work-related stress, studying pressures, and parenting challenges over recent years. Target customers for mental health access have been identified as busy professionals, students, working parents, and others searching for a more convenient service. Remote care options are of particular interest to those who feel they simply cannot carve out the time necessary to attend regular appointments but would still like to access reliable help.

Tell us about yourself

I am a psychiatric professional who has been providing healthcare services of exceptional quality for over twelve years. I obtained my post-master psychiatric nurse practitioner degree from Regis College. I am the owner and operator of New Age Psychiatry, and I am dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric care within convenient system structures. I specialize in psychiatric medication management for ADHD, depression, and anxiety-related issues. My ultimate goal is to offer the highest quality of care while making my clients feel heard and respected. I was inspired to revolutionize mental health care as a result of an oftentimes unsatisfying experience within the psychiatry sector. Too often, clients were dismissed or provided inadequate care and treatment, leading me to establish New Age Psychiatry in order to provide lasting solutions that are proven successful. I consistently go above and beyond for my patients and am sure to respond to their inquiries promptly. From inpatient to outpatient and even telehealth services, I have worked in every sector of psychiatric healthcare and can provide consistent support for those looking for relief. Not only do I listen carefully to all of my client's needs, but I also strive to deliver high-quality care without sacrificing customer service.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have achieved great success as a business owner over the past two years on my first venture. My best victory yet was the persistent growth of my dream into reality, having no external funding when I began but slowly growing and developing what is now a successful and dependable practice. Along with this accomplishment, I have grown in my knowledge and understanding of the struggles of an entrepreneur, having first-hand experience working day in and day out to make it happen. This journey representing immense dedication and resilience has led to a satisfying end result.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being a business owner can be tough and full of unexpected complications. One way to help prepare for these circumstances is to learn from the experiences of other business owners and to study best practices. Unfortunately for many new entrepreneurs, including myself, growing pains can come in the form of overpaying for services, lack of guidance or mentor-ship, unknowingly paying for services that over-promise and don't deliver, and entering into contracts that are one-sided. These pain points often present opportunities to learn, but it is best to guard against them whenever possible. A mindful approach that involves doing due diligence and investing in reliable advice should go a long way in making sure your business gets off on the right foot.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Starting, running, and growing a business today is no small feat. With ever-changing technology and an increasingly competitive marketplace, it can be incredibly challenging to stay ahead of the game. Here are my top three tips for anyone looking to start, run and grow a business in the modern age:

  1. Stay Ahead Of The Curve: As technology rapidly evolves and new trends emerge every day, you need to make sure you're staying on top of all developments related to your industry. This means regularly researching emerging technologies or services as well as reading industry news so that you can better develop your own products/services before others catch up with the times. Additionally, consider launching early without perfecting everything yet - this way, when competitors jump on board later, they won't be able to completely overtake what you have already established by pre-emptively launching your product or service.
  2. Utilize Digital Marketing Strategies: Gone are the days when traditional marketing strategies were enough - now is truly the era of digital dominance when it comes to reaching potential customers and boosting sales numbers. It's therefore incredibly important not just to keep up with digital trends but also to invest time into mastering various Ads and online platforms.
