Neuro-Performance Strategies for Success - NextGen Wealthy

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jay Dhahan, Founder of NextGen Wealthy, located in Tampa, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

At NextGen Wealthy, we are changing the world by inspiring and empowering the next generation to live life with abundance, freedom, and wealth. That's why we are on a mission to feed 1 million children and disrupt the modern education systems by teaching the youth core curriculums like communication, interpersonal skills, personal finance, business fundamentals, and much more.

The innovation process that's taken place is understanding how to adapt to the next generation. Looking into the leaders of tomorrow's world and understanding the innovative ways to connect with them. Whether they are clients or employees, connecting with the next generation and coming up with creative ways to attract them is really what has been the catalyst to our growth.

Tell us about yourself

I was a big believer in personal development from a young age. Traditional school systems were never for me, so I decided to go out and pursue different types of education. Like attending webinars, seminars, and anything I could consume that was interesting to me. One main mentor of mine, his name is Richard Dolan, I saw him on stage one day speaking so elegantly on stage, and it got me to start understanding that I wanted to speak like that. To get so educated on a topic that I could get on a stage and impact and influence others. It really started guiding me and pushing me out of my comfort zone to educate myself continuously. Learning from people like Robert Kiyosaki, John Maxwell, Tony Robbins, as well as Grant Cardone. I recently decided to immerse myself in Grant Cardone's 10X culture and saw his vision of impacting 8 billion people. Which gave me so much insight on how to 10X my goals, mindset, and thought patterns to really go out there and help those that need the right guidance and mentorship to get to the next level. Using the skills, abilities, and experiences I've learned over the years and the millions of dollars I have poured into my personal development. It's allowed me to understand that my mentors and coaches were so integral to my success and the success that I am bringing my clients I work alongside. As well as just everyday people I always want to add value to.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My greatest accomplishment was selling my commercial real estate property for $3.5M. Also, I raised over $1M over two beers at a bar with a gentleman.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Consistency & discipline it takes to maintain a daily routine.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The best advice I can give you is to spend time understanding this amazing supercomputer called the brain. The more you start to understand the brain, the more you understand the thought patterns and emotions that come with it. That allows you to make the most logical decisions vs. emotional ones that get you into a better place when it comes personally, professionally, and financially.
